The Monocle is a pocket talk-button with one ear and one eye. Hold the button and speak, or triple-tap to show it the world. It hears you, sees what you show it, and dispatches your own agent to get the thing done — then it gets out of your way.
No wake word, no always-on cloud ear. Everything runs on your hardware, under your control.
What it is
A device that does as told
The Monocle is not a chatbot, and it has no ambitions to become one. You press the button, say the thing, and put it down. The device listens, transcribes, and routes your instruction to an agent that acts — on your own infrastructure.
It can read what you show it: point the lens at a page, a board, or a scene, and the agent sees it. Replies are delivered where you choose.
How it works
Two gestures, two capabilities
Voice
Hold to talk
Hold the button and speak. Your words are transcribed on your own bridge with Whisper — no wake word, no cloud microphone. The instruction routes to your agent and a reply comes back.
Vision
Triple-tap to show
Tap the button three times and the Monocle snaps a photo. The agent sees the image and acts on what’s in frame — reading text, describing a scene, or taking the next step.
A single tap wakes the device from deep sleep, so the battery lasts through days of errands. The workflow is the same every time: speak or show, let the agent act, get on with your day.
